Customers frequently asked questions
How does contact-free delivery work?
Local shops who deliver will be asked to let the customer know they have arrived, place the order outside their door, step a safe distance back and wait nearby for the customer to collect the food before the order can be completed.
Can I order a week in advance?
Yes! You can order a month in advance and set up weekly orders or deliveries.
What kind of local shops are listed on Collect Or Deliver?
All types of shops. Our goal is getting all types of shops on our platform to give you a range of choices and a place to help and support your local shops. If you don't see a local shop on your list please get in touch and we can reach out to them.
Is there a minimum spend?
The minimum order amount can vary depending on which local shop you’re ordering from. If there’s a minimum order amount, you’ll be informed at checkout before you place your order.
What if I want to cancel my order?
As long as the shop has not yet started preparing your order, you're able to cancel your order. Contact the local shop directly.
What if I want to add something to my order, I've forgotten?
If you are collecting your order you can call the shop directly to add the items and pay once you get to the shop. For deliveries unfortunately you will not be able to do unless you create a new order.
What is the order fee and why am I charged it?
The order fee is proportionate to the total of your basket and is used to keep our service available to you. We don't charge shop keepers commissions like our competitors so your overall price will still be less!
Why don't you charge commission to the shops?
When platforms charge its sellers a commission, that charge is typically passed directly onto the shoppers and is also used to jack up prices. We instead charge a small order fee so that shop keepers can keep there prices the same as they are in-store.
